So another day another seasonal treat! this time a treat whipped up in minutes and I really mean minutes. The longest part of this task is melting the chocolates and then you can let the fun begin!

What you'll need

  • Any chocolate you fancy be it milk white or dark I went for a combination of all 3

  • Some fun toppings I chose orange and yellow m&ms some pumpkin sprinkles and some terrys chocolate orange popping candy pieces. Other options are fudge pieces, marshmallows, pop corn or mini pretzels

  • some white chocolate for swirling over the top!

  • some grease proof paper

So you'll need to start by melting all your chocolate you can do this one of two ways either by the microwave method or using a saucepan with a heatproof bowl over the simmering water. I found it easier to melt all the chocolate prior to anything else. You dont want to be melting your base chocolate adding your toppings and then needing to stop to melt your white chocolate to swirl on top! so once it's all melted and distributed into the bowls you can get to starting!

Have no fear and pour your base chocolate onto the grease proof paper and use a spatula to smooth the chocolate out to desired shape and size (literally so satisfying)

Once happy, go nuts with your toppings you don't need to worry about being neat you can be as rustic as you wish it adds to the charm!

finally using a fork swirl over your white or dark chocolate to create a swirling pattern. Leave to chill in the fridge for around half an hour and then bring and break up! literally that simple!
