So I've been wearing extensions for about 4 years now and have been contemplating buying some from the brand milk and blush (formally known as dirty locks) So when my last set were beginning to look a little ropey and had seen better days I decided to take the plunge and go for it! After having a look on the website I was a little unsure of which shade to go for, one draw back of ordering online is you don't know if the color will be the correct match. I then discovered Milk and Blush offered a shade match service where you can send a photograph of your hair and they'll find the best shade to match it so I took full advantage of this and I'm so glad I did because without them I would of more than likely picked the entirely wrong shade! I'm a light brown shade so I went for the color hot toffee (originally known as stalker worthy)

When I received the extensions I couldn't wait to dive right in and get them all clipped in! unlike other extensions I've purchased in the past these were all pre cut and clipped properly so no faffing around cutting them sewing them yourself which was already a winner for me! I know this is irellivant but they also use the cutest packaging which I think adds a little something. Anyway once you've opened your package they give you a "test weft" which you're allowed to take out of the hygiene netting and hold up to your hair to make sure the shade matches. I think this is a great idea what with the store being online you obviously can't go and check them in person prior to buying. In this instance the shade was perfect however if it hadn't of been I could of sent the set back and either got my money back or exchanged for another shade.

The set came with 10 wefts in various widths to fit accordingly around your head, I ordered the triple weft set which has 3 wefts of hair sewn onto 2 clips so you get more hair but less clips. I have quite thin hair so the less clips the better it is for me to blend and hide them!
